Gdynia Stadium was opened at the beginning of 2011. Considered a sports card of the city, it is an integral element of the Sports Forum, which also includes the National Rugby Stadium and modern event hall Gdynia Arena. In the yellow-blue stands of the stadium 15,000 people can be seated. The City Stadium was one of the arenas of the UEFA Under-21 Euro 2017 in Poland. In the group stage, the youth representation of Spain, Portugal and Macedonia played their games here. Every day the City Stadium is the home base of Arka Gdynia - the most successful football club in northern Poland.
